Hi,
I just wanted to say thank you for yesterday as we had a great time and I felt a lot more
confident at the end of the day than I had done at the beginning!
Rachel
Hi Eddie and Emma,
Many thanks for making today so much fun, my friend and I along with our daughters had a great time, despite the windy and cold weather conditions.
The atmosphere was friendly and the courses were inviting even for our very nervous novices. So much so they cant wait until you run this event again.
We very much appreciate the hard work you all put on today.
Thanks Sue, Marian, Stacey and Melissa
Thank-you so much to Manor Farm and Eddie for making my first ever event clear round jumping so enjoyable.
I have only been riding for 2 years and jumping less than that but the friendly atmosphere (along with taking the top bar off most of the jumps in the clear round )made me leave the ring wanting to do more.
I can't wait to come to more events and "give it a go". Thanks for making the Centre a safe and friendly place for beginner riders as well as the professionals. It was so nice to be included.

Just to say Sat's SJ was a fantasic event! very friendly and relaxing atmoshere!

I just wanted to write and say a big thankyou for the excellent organisation and running of the Le Trek competition on Saturday. It was my first competition on a horse I have only had for 3 months.
The friendly, well organised day was an absolute pleasure. Good lorry parking area, yummy food and attention given to my request to put me early meant that I was not as nervous as I thought and neither was Splash who could sense the calm friendly atmosphere.
I hope I will soon be back to take part in more activities with you.

On the 31 December, Manor Farm EC, Huntingdon, hosted a fitting finale to their first year of BSJA. The centre feels its BSJA shows are going from strength to strength and is looking forward to more competitions in 2008.
Bearing in mind Manor Farm is only just getting established, it was very brave to feature a Puissance at the end of the schedule, particularly on New Year's Eve with people dashing off early for parties and celebrations.
The Puissance was well run and, as we had never competed in one of these classes before, it was a bit nerve racking to say the least, especially when we were informed that the wall was capable of reaching 1.66m!
However, it was a fantastic competition, well run and a real crowd pleaser. From our point of view, it was a fantastic way to end 2007 as we were joint first along with Nicky Denton and Laura Newsum having cleared the dreaded 1.66m.
Thank you Manor Farm and Della Perry Performance Horses for sponsoring the class. But most of all thanks to our horses, Habask Aggersborg and Solomon Did for jumping clear.

Just wanted to say how brill Manor Farm is ! The Maguire Family have made fantastic improvements which are still on going. It is a pleasure to go there. There is a wonderful atmosphere and always a friendly face..............nothing is too much trouble.
Thanks Eddie and Team

Hi Eddie, Thanks very much for putting on a lovely day out. I haven't done a dressage
test for a couple of years but Mum, "Choccy" and I enjoyed it very much.
The egg/ bacon rolls kept us warm too!
I hope to come out and watch some of the western classes, and look forward to the trec too.
Sue
I'd just like to thank you for helping me load my horse this evening.
I really enjoyed the show it's so nice to find some freestyle classes!
Will be back soon. Thanks again for your kindness.

Dear Maguire Family,
I would just like to say thank you to you for running the Miller Sands
competition which we greatly enjoyed and was obviously made all the better by the
fact that we won our class. I would also like to thank Miller Sands for sponsoring
the competition final, and providing the lovely rosettes throughout the qualifiers too.
I have now spent our winnings on some lovely photographs taken by JT Photography as
a reminder of the occasion, oh, and some carrots for Cash Limit (aka Scrumps).
Just to say a huge "thank you" to everyone for making this weekend so great and making me feel so welcome. It was especially kind of you to include me in for the curry on saturday night.
Good luck with all the plans for the future. Hopefully I will see you next year.
Many thanks again.
Penny
Hello, just writing to say how well organised and pleasant the show jumping was on Saturday we all thoroughly enjoyed it and will look forward to competing at manor farm for a long time to come
Regards Helen
Hi,
I would just like to email to say I came show jumping on the 14th and I really enjoyed it. I really like the changes that have been made to the sight. The fencing around the practise arena were really helpful, and the floodlights may come in handy sometime. The jumping itself was good, the course was great and the people very friendly and helpful, even holding our ponies while we walked the course. I’m
also inclined to think I loved the show even more due to winning the 2'3"!!
I loved the trophy, my first trophy!
I really enjoyed the day and I hope there will be many more! Also there is a Manor Farm Dressage Club, I would know quite a few people who would benefit from a all round manor farm club which offers discounts on all shows/demonstrations/lectures etc.
Thanks Greatly for a great day
Regards Sarah
Hi Eddie, We came to your show last night and really enjoyed it!
Well done!
Regards Lesley
Dear Eddie and all at Manor Farm
I just wanted to thank you for the Indoor TREC you ran at the weekend.
I press ganged a couple of friends into hiring a lorry with me so we could come
and try it out and we all had the most fantastic time. It was the first time we
had been to Manor Farm, and the first time my friends had tried TREC and we won’t
hesitate to attend both again. The atmosphere and everyone we met were so
riendly that even us generally non-competitive happy hacker types were given
the confidence to really feel that we achieved something, unlike some other
events at other places that I’ve been to which have been very intimidating for
a first timer. For one of our horses who is only four, it was her first ever
trip out, and it really was the perfect introduction for her. Your facilities
are great and we were really impressed with the course you built. I hope you
run another TREC event because we are all dying to come again!
Thanks again for a brilliant day, which was worth every penny and more,
Jenny
Hi my name is Rebecca and I have competed at manor farm for about
2/3 years and I am impressed with the new facilities and the new
web layout they both look really good and I can’t wait to be competing
there again on Sunday for the dressage.
Yours sincerely, Rebecca.
Please pass on my compliments to the cafeteria staff. No only is the menu varied and well presented (with lots of home made stuff!) but the staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
It really made a difference on a cold December day - you should be very
proud of them.
Dear Mr and Mrs Maguire,
I would just like to say thank you very much
for a splendid show on Saturday the 16th. It was run very efficiently and everyone was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope that you will have many more such successful events in the future!!
All the best and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Chris & Jo.
Good Afternoon
Just wanted to let you know that (although scared stupid) I thoroughly enjoyed my
first outing with my little fella Alfie.
I thought your facilities were great and really appreciate you letting me take him
in the arena – he was certainly far better behaved than I was!!!!
I didnt get a rosette (they should do one for bravery)
– but I didn’t come last –
for our first ever outing together it wasn’t that bad.
Ive only been riding for a few years – theres plenty of time for red rosettes yet!!!
Lorna
Hi
I just wanted to say thank you for organising the show jumping speed derby event yesterday.
I hadn't show jumped my horse since November and we both really enjoyed the 2ft 6 class and had
a great clear round! The course was fair and offered its challenges from the wall and the water
trays but I thought it was excellent! It was my first visit to Manor Farm and I will
definitely be back again!
Great arenas both indoor and out and great course of jumps!
Joanne
Hi
Just a small comment!, I haven't been to Manor Farm for some months and I found it
much improved all round with considerable thought and effort going into all aspects
of the competition. Just one small grumble, if possible could we have something a
little more health concious on the menu for those of us struggling to keep fitting
into our jodhs!!!, ie, soup or jacket potatoies would be marvellous!!
